The official TRIM support is already in Snow Leopard builds for the new Macbook Pros with SSDs and it's in Lion as well. The official support is only for the Apple's SSDs, no TRIM support for third party SSDs. There is a way to enable it for any SSD that supports TRIM, but it is a hack. I was #407 in line at 6:51 PM. Got a shirt (and a nice one it is).
Staff handled everything smoothly. Very upbeat and cordial, especially the key personnel (managers, etc). There were dedicated lines for those just buying Leopard; the whole process took less than ten minutes. Went downstairs to Starbucks and saw three MacBook users installing their new OS (the mall offers free WiFi through Bright House / Roadrunner).

What are some precautions I should take before selling my Air? Beyond wiping my SSD what else do I need to do to make sure my data is securely erased?

Everytime I upgrade to a new version of LR I try Aperture, I tend to find it struggles badly on my Mac Mini - Lightroom doesn't set the world on fire in terms of performance - but it works.
For me LR is a more polished application, I have no issues with the interface (used it from Beta version) or the need to switch from Library to Develop modules.

Wow! Just wow. First, your movie editor cannot change your source footage. Second, DV is Digital Video. If you have analog video, then it impossible for it to be DV.

I couldn't - The file size is too large. :(
(thanks for pointing that out though) I can downsize it's quality/physical size to fit the attachments but I can't replace the current one with it - it won't look right.

Have you checked the directory permissions? By default, your Documents directory is set to only be readable by you (for security on your local machine).
Try chmodding that sucker...

I really thought that his retirement after this year's Tour was very classy - it is rare (and refreshing) to see somebody going out on top. But it's his call.
As to his fitness, I'm sure few people doubt he is capable of winning an 8th Tour (heck, he could probably go for 10 and do it) - but he knows his own fitness best.
Maybe the controversy surrounding the L'Equipe accusations have made him want to stick it to the naysayers?
I just hope Lance doesn't end up like Michael Jordan...

I read that you have to go to sound in system preferences and change the output to tv once you hook the cord up. Can you confirm that works?
Yeah, that is what my sister did. And that worked for her. It wasn't the Monoprice cable, but one she got at the Apple Store, but I think all those cables will work if you set the audio in the System Preferences.
