I've updated the app and frankly I really can't tell a difference. I downloaded direct from phone, so unless it downloaded the old version I'm not impressed. The thumbnails still look low rez to me (and not the beautifully sharp images the 4 display is capable of) and the pictures don't look better in my opionion. Would need to do an A/B comparison later with my wife's 3GS. :confused:

Check for poorman steadycam on Google. You can build one for $19, pretty effective actually.

Dear All ,
I have Macbook , come Dark on backlight , i change inverter but still same problem .
and when fix inverter cable to the inverter the normal disply comes back once , like only plug and unplg , ineed to knwo the problem from logic borad , or from other think .
Pls see this video , of this problem .

Anyone spoken to them to confirm if they have a reservation list at all? :confused:
I checked with the store to see if they were doing pre-orders/reservations but they said that it would be on a first come, first served basis. It looks like Orange have back tracked on it as they originally said that they would be taking pre-orders.
I was thinking of heading there for about 7/7:15 ish too. The lady I spoke to yesterday at the store said that as long as you are there by about 7:45 it should be ok but that it depends on the numbers in the queue. However she didn't know what the stock would be so it was a guess.
Guess I'll see you there :)

The best is to create a Wallpapers folder anywhere you want (preferably in the Images folder, situated in your User folder).
Then, just add it to the list in the preference pane (see attached pic).

There are only two diesels currently offered in the US: the MB e350 and VW Jetta. However, neither are availible for purchase in several states, including California, and New York.
However, the regs allow ownership of these diesels within those states if the purchaser runs through severael hoops. Is anyone familiar with the process for purchasing the car out of state and importing back to the state with the prohibition? It involves driving the car for several thousand miles for a minimum number of months before registering in the home state. I'm most interested in California.

Custom 10.6.5 made specifically for that model line. As far as I know, there are only 10.6.0 and 10.6.3 retail Snow Leopard disks.

I've been waiting for a change to the iBook line-up for a few months, which I know is kind of too soon...but the addition of a 12" DVD model isn't what I was waiting for... I guess it is cool for people to have options, but I was hoping for some better specs.

The resolution is set at what the monitors are. I am not sure what you mean by setting it to "the same as the computer"....?
This issue happens regardless of what programs are running. The program you see on the screenshot is Safari, with www.purple.us (the site has an embedded video). But this problem happens when Safari isn't running at all. In fact, it happens when I have quit out of all running apps (aside from Finder, obviously)
I would love it if the cause could be discovered before I do a reinstall.

I just don't see how Gingrich can possibly be a viable candidate. Even with the brainpower of the greatest marketers and spinsters out there...The attack ads practically write themselves:

Apple is in no rush to hurry something as important as this. A buggy IDE = Fail for Apple and a slow down in iPad iPhone iTouch and Mac Apps.
They obviously think that the current IDE = fail, if they are releasing a total overhaul of the UI.
Making the IDE better will help them bring in new developers.

The next Mac Mini should be fine for that. If as hoped it gets a Sandy Bridge processor it'll make the MacBook Air look terribly slow in comparison for CPU intensive tasks, especially if you put a SSD in the Mini.
As for EyeTV, the current Mini isn't as powerful as many of us would like, but I find it to be adequate. Hopefully the refresh will correct this and allow smooth playing of live sport in HDTV using progressive scan.
I have EyeTV and two 2009 Minis and see no problems other than the motion problem inherent in 1080i video. Changing computers won't fix that problem.

Anyways, good to see consoles finally getting head tracking, but I'm curious about how far they've gone, if it actually supports 6 DOF, or if it's just x and y, which given the console's hardware might be the case.
And that part showing the father and son air-wheeling it on the couch was lame.
GT5 has always had head tracking, and it will always be a better simulator than Forza will ever hope to be. Will GT compare to PC sims, probably not, but Forza is far more concerned with "pimp my ride" than it is with being a simulator (has to appeal to the teenage male audience xbox attracts). I'll stick with GT, its the most realistic driving sim on any console, and always will be.

Got a bit of an interesting occurance with my Powerbook G4 12" 1.33. Quite a while ago I dropped my bag with it inside, causing the corner of the frame to bend a bit and make it difficult to plug the power in, and make it stay. Finally, I decided to open it up and try to bend the frame back with the help of pbfixit. To my shock and horror, as I was unscrewing the keyboard from the underneith, I'm pretty sure I shocked the logic board where there it pokes through beside the RAM expansion slot :eek: I nervously put it all back together, and to my delight, it worked. Or did it?
My first KP occured while running tiger. I was unplugging the power, and as it changed power saving modes it crashed. I thought "oh well Ill just have to deal with this", but it turned out to not be such a regular occurance. KP's started happening with more frequency, in random places. Power plugged in or battery, many apps open or just a few. Highly frustrating. Unfortunately at this point I hadn't read about the log file so I didn't actually look at what the error messages were...
In desperation earlier today, I installed panther to see if that might somehow work. To my dismay, about 30 minutes after installing it I received another KP while just idling. At this point I started searching the forum, and figured out how to get the logs. Here is the one from that time:
