Assuming your Xbox360 has HDMI out and you already have an HDMI cable, all you need is an HDMI to DVI converter and plug in directly into the ACD. Those are very cheap. I'd get one from monoprice.com.
You do not want to put the MBP into the mix. This will be expensive and cause a lag in the display that will make playing games difficult or impossible.

Hmm... an Apple website replaced by a section on iTunes... this is obviously proof that Apple intends to pull the entire World Wide Web into iTunes and create a walled garden where the entire internet is controlled by THEM, MUHAHAHA!

Is a shorten keyboard ideal to learn playing on? I see Garage Band has some lessons but I would imagine as a beginner, the last thing you want is to adjust knobs and sliders to move up/down the octaves.
I like the M-Audio Oxygen 25. Looks like a very compact but has a lot of features.
Any thoughts?

These "sellers" on Amazon are already guaranteeing one, at a price:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B000OYMSL6/ref=dp_olp_2/t/103-5003562-2802250?ie=UTF8&qid=1175279653&sr=1-1
I wish I can just go and get one for my videogame system collection, like I did for the XBox Halo edition - I just walked into a store. No eBay sellers to compete with, etc.
Now with "resellers" - forget it...:(

I may be the only one, but I think that thread titles with repeated question marks (?????) are annoying and unnecessary. It only suggests unnecessary urgency and importance to the thread the poster has written. Therefore I think there should be a rule that states that threads with more than one repeated question mark in the title will be deleted until renamed.
You're not the only one. I agree with you. :p
Your solution is a little harsh, yes, but all those repeated question (and exclamation) marks are annoying. :)

Anybody used a Kodak PlaySport (Zx3) HD Waterproof Pocket Video Camera?
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0030MITDK/ref=cm_cr_asin_lnk
Any comments?
Any suggestions for a comparable unit that's worth taking a look at?
Thanks.

LCDs looks horrible when not ran at their native resolution. You will definitely want to run it at 2560x1600. If the text is too small, sit closer or make the fonts bigger.
Um... no...
My 27" looks great @ 1920x1080...
In games, you can't tell the difference.

If you are a rational person, one should know that it isn't reasonable to expect a break until Lion is officially announced. However, you could always write a letter to Obama and 'hope' that things will 'change.' :) People are getting things in this country they shouldn't have and they just expect more and more.

hey,
so, we're going to be running some macTV ads over the next few weeks, and i thought instead of just linking to our iTunes listing or our plain website, some mini-promos would be cool.
i've come up with a prototype here: http://www.watchmactv.com/specials/coldplay/
what do you guys think? we aren't going to do this for every video..just some hand picked ones that we think people will like.
mm, anyway, i just wanted some opinons on the creative side. i think it gets the job done nicely (the page) but it is a little tall..there's not too much i can do about that..is the subscribe button clear enough?
like i said, i'd appreciate any opinions you may have.. :)
thanks,
asif

You're not alone, I've read of others having a similar problem with facetime on 4.3.2 as well.

I've had a similar experience on several occasions, most recently today. I have my inbox sorted by date received, with newest mail at the top, but for some reason new mail (received 'Today') will be at the bottom. Mail received 'Yesterday' will be at the top.
My message counter (in the dock icon) will indicate new mail, but when I look for it (at the top of my date-sorted list), it won't be there. I have to scroll down to the bottom of the list, and there, below the oldest of my already-read e-mails, is my new mail.
I've had the same issue in Mail countless times. I hope this bug is fixed in Tiger.

Hi
My gamertag is netgem21 and I wanna change it cos it sounds boring.
Wondering if anyone can come up with some ideas from this: (I don't want applemax)
My real name is Max
I like Apple
I'm not that great at gaming
I love Xbox 360 and Wii
Anything that sounds and looks cool and something that people will instantly know how to pronounce. I'm tired of people calling me 'net-g-em' instead of 'net-jem':D
Thanks and Good luck! I'm pretty fussy! :D

I'd appreciate any links to distributed computing forums, not of the folding @ home type but for closed, professional grid-based computing. It'd be good to read up on what other people are doing in respect of this these days.
Thanks
Thanks

Have been running Folding (GUI) on three Macs for the past few months:
PB G4 1.33GHz, 1GB RAM, 24x7
iMac G4 800, 1GB RAM, 24x7
iMac G4 700, 576MB RAM, 24x7
Combined, those have been averaging about 2,600 points per month for me.
Just added today (console):
a 3.6GHz Xeon, 1GB RAM, 800MHz system bus
a Dual 2.4GHz Xeon, 2GB RAM, 400Mhz system bus
How much of a jump in production should I see?

lol - i thought that might be the case, not nearly as interesting as if there'd been a fight though :)
wasn't many people there really - once they let everyone in, i think everyone who was queuing all fit inside the shop.
not sure how it went for contract people, but i got my PAYG one really quickly. left with the phone activated and in my pocket before 08:40 i recon
quite a few cameras and photographers though.

I think the shuffles are a great idea for the tournament, and it shows the school is in tune with cool gifts for that age group. Apple refurbs are usualy great products...especially with a shuffle. With solid state flash memory, its either works perfect or it doesn't work at all, so refurb won't matter too much.

Didn't get the ad screen for me but I've stopped visiting SpyMac a loong time ago.
And yes I hate those animated adverts, makes me vow to never buy the product that's being advertising. Had an odd situation on another website awhile ago, where the page would never render correctly in Safari when a Microsoft Office banner came up. If it was any other ad then the page would render fine, if it was Microsoft's turn then I would have to use Firefox...conspiracy I tell you! :p

I guess Judgment Day is over, but how will I know whether or not to come up out of this bunker?
Just in case I think I'll stay down here. I have a 3-year supply of water and canned food.
Is this why we have a ratings system now?
Skynet took over MacRumors!!
